This is just another test...two days to go before we get on that plane....planning to have a lobster roll at Luke's at the Plaza Food Hall on Saturday night ...on most lists of 'best lobster rolls in NYC' ..and just across the street from our hotel so might not even need to wear the coat!

Also hoping to go to Brooklyn on Sunday to see one of the local neighbourhoods (Carroll Gardens) and then see the Christmas lights at Dyker Heights.....

first post 19 September....getting prepared

OK - so I have decided to use a blog to let friends know about our trip to NYC to celebrate Christmas, New Year and my 50th birthday.

It's still a few months before we go but I decided to work out how to do it in advance.

and how do I type around the image so it looks good?

And I thought I fixed up the font in the display options to be a cute one, but those settings must be only for the template and not the posts....mmmmmm...

What happens when I keep typing...oh good, the text wraps around the picture...

What about a link ?
